John is the guy who gets us all over the finish line. Bringing a long history of managing complex technical projects, John uses his magic skills to beautifully break down big ideas into their various parts so our engineering teams can deliver on-time and on-budget, all the while keeping everyone well informed each step of the way.
John knows project management styles and adeptly steers our unique agile engineering flows. He can talk your ear off on best practices when it comes to project management (so be careful!).
Whether you want us to deliver an amazing plan and manage it for you or if you’d like us to integrate into your process, John somehow brings it all together with grace & patience.
Hailing from the frozen tundra of Toronto, Ontario, John is a husband, father and a man of multiple talents including composing and performing music, and writing including various types of sci-fi, fantasy and comic books. His favorite sport is martial arts.
STEPHEN MOWRY
CEO, ARCHITECT
Our Founder and CEO, Stephen Mowry, began in ecommerce during the dot-com boom in the late 90’s. After serving many organizations on the hardware & networking side, Stephen transitioned to software development and started his own agency helping brands such as Sun Microsystems, Sage Software and others.
Stephen has a broad but deep background in software architecture, hardware architecture, enterprise development (Fortune 100), and has architected multiple ecommerce platforms from scratch.
After starting one of the most successful digital video marketing agencies (Epipheo), Stephen has now brought together his expertise in ecommerce, technology & marketing under one roof.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys being with his wife Tiffany & 4 children (Angus, Desmond, Ivy & Roland), serving as director of a ministry non-profit, writing music, reading fantasy & poetry and playing table-top games. His favorite sport is Hockey.
ALEX PONOM
ENGINEERING
So they say that to become a master of something you need to spend 10,000 hours practicing. Well, Alex is most definitely a master engineer and oversees every line of code that goes into our software stack.
Alex is one of those incredible people that can build anything and he never backs down from a challenge. Overseeing our amazing engineering force, he ensures that we’re building things with speed, scalability and flexibility in mind.
Alex and Stephen have worked closely for many years, helping solve complex problems for many brands.
Alex brings many years of advanced software design & engineering experience and brilliantly weaves systems together to help 12AX7 deliver amazing results with lightning speed.
In his free time, Alex enjoys playing soaring guitar solos with his band, skiing in Austria, drinking terrible coffee & spending time with his family.
